How to Delete History Content in MS Word 2007
1. Click on the Microsoft Office Button, and then select the 'Word Options' button.Word Options is a built-in functionality in Word that enables Word users to be able to customize their Word software based on their individual needs.
2. Select the 'Advanced tab,' and then find the 'Display' section by scrolling down.Settings for the Recent Documents feature can be customized in this section, among other options.
3. Disable recent document history in Word 2007 by entering the value '0' next to the 'Show this number of Recent Documents' phrase, and then click on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the Word Options dialog box to effect these changes.From the moment you click the 'OK' button, Word 2007 will no longer display a document history.
