How to Fix Problems in Word 2007

1. Open Word 2007, select the Office button located at the top left-hand corner of the user interface (UI) and then choose 'Word Options' from the drop-down menu.
2. Click on 'Resources' located on the left pane and then choose the 'Diagnose' button. Select 'Continue' and then choose 'Run Diagnostics.'
3. If you are unable to open Word 2007, click on the Windows Start menu, select 'All programs,' choose 'Microsoft Office,' select 'Microsoft Office Tools,' and then click on 'Microsoft Office Diagnostics.'
4. Wait while Office Diagnostics runs several tests on your PC. Upon completion of the tests, Office Diagnostics reveals a summary of problems in your Office programs including Word 2007, if any.
5. Click the 'Continue' button and then follow the prompts for Office Diagnostics to resolve the issue.
