How to Flip Text in Microsoft Word

1. Open Microsoft Word. If you are using Word 2003, make sure the drawing toolbar is open. If it's not, click the "View" menu, select "Toolbars" and choose "Drawing." Click the "Word Art" button in the drawing toolbar. In later versions of Word, go to the "Insert" menu and select "Word Art" from the Text group.
2. Select the Word Art object that looks most like the text you want to use and click "OK." Type over "Your Text Here" with the text that you would like and click "OK." Change the font and font size to match your document.
3. Click the Word Art object to select it. In Word 2003, click the "WordArt Shape" button on the Word Art toolbar. In later versions of Word, click the "Format" tab under "WordArt Tools." Select the straight line shape.
4. Click the Word Art object again to make sure it is still selected. In Word 2003, click "Draw" on the drawing toolbar. In later versions of Word, select the "Format" tab under "WordArt Tools."
5. Click "Rotate or Flip" in Word 2003. In later versions of Word, click "Rotate" in the Arrange group. Click "Horizontal" or "Vertical" to flip the text.
