How to Reset Options in Word 2007
1. Close Microsoft Word 2007 if it is open.
2. Click the 'Start' button and then the 'Run' in Windows XP. Enter 'REGEDIT' in the Run box and press the Enter key. In Windows Vista and Windows 7, type 'REGEDIT' in the search box and click the 'REGEDIT' link in the results box.
3. Double click the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER' folder on the left side of the window.
4. Navigate to the '/ Software/Microsoft/Office/12.0/Word' folder key. Highlight the folder on the right side of the screen.
5. Press the Delete key. Click on the 'Yes' button when asked to confirm the deletion. Close the Registry Editor.
6. Open Microsoft Word. The program again uses default options and settings.
