How to Set Margins in Word 2007
1. Open Microsoft Word 2007 and open a new document.
2. Click the 'Page Layout' tab and select the 'Page Setup' group from the ribbon above the workspace.
3. Select 'Margins' and then select the margin width you desire from the drop-down menu that appears. Select 'Normal' to make basic 1-inch margins on all sides of your document. You can also select from presets 'Narrow,' 'Moderate,' 'Wide' and 'Mirrored.'
4. Choose 'Custom Margins' from below the preset margins to set your own custom margins. Enter numbers into the Left, Right, Top and Bottom fields to create custom margins for your document. Click 'OK' when you finish.
