How to Edit a Microsoft Word 2007 Document With Works 9.0
1. Right-click the file you want to convert. Click 'Open With.' In the list of programs, double-click 'Microsoft Word 2007' to open the file in the processor.
2. Click the 'Office' button in the top-left corner. Click 'Save As' to open a conversion window. Select 'Works (*.wps)' from the 'Save as type' drop-down box.
3. Click 'Save' to convert the file to the Works format. If you have Works installed on your computer, you can test the new format. Right-click the .wps file stored on the computer and select 'Open With.' Double-click 'Microsoft Works' to open it in the software and make any edits you wish.
