How do I Make a Birthday Party Card in Microsoft Word?

1. Click the Office button and 'New' in Word 2007.
2. Choose 'Invitations' from the left pane in the 'New Document' window. Select 'Party Invitations' on the right and scroll through the birthday card designs.
3. Select the one you want and click 'Download' to load it in Word.
4. Highlight any existing text you want to replace. Then add in the correct details for your party, such as the date, time, location and RSVP information.
5. Highlight any text you want to format. Then choose the font, color and style you want to apply using the mini toolbar that appears above the selected text.
6. Add pictures by selecting the 'Insert' tab and clicking 'Picture' from the 'Illustration' group. To add clip art, select 'Insert' and click 'Clip Art.' Then insert the image you want to use (example, a picture of the birthday person, a cake, balloons, or an image from your theme). To resize the image, grab one of its corners and push it inward or pull it outward with your mouse.
7. Add in other details you want to include. Then click the Office button and select 'Save As.' Type in a file name in the 'Save As' dialog box and click 'Save.'
