How to Delete Page Breaks in MS Word

1. Open Microsoft Word and the document that has page breaks that you want to remove.
2. Click on the “View” menu at the top of the screen if you are using a version of MS Word that is older than MS Word 2007. From the menu, select “Normal” to see the normal page view of the MS Word document. In Word 2007, you do not have to change your view.
3. Move down the page to identify each page break that you want to delete. Keep in mind that you can only delete the page breaks that you have manually inserted and not the natural page breaks, which appear as a light dotted line across the page.
4. Use your mouse to click in the margin of the page to the left of the page break that you want to delete. This will highlight the page break.
5. Press the “Delete” key on your keyboard to delete the page break. Repeat this for each page break that you want to delete.
