How to Reuse a Footnote in Word
1. Place your cursor on the document where you want to reuse the footnote.
2. Go to the "Insert" menu in Word 2003, point to "Reference," and select "Cross Reference." Go to the "Insert" tab in Word 2007 or 2010 and click on "Cross Reference" in the "Links" group. The "Cross Reference" dialog box will open.
3. Select "Footnote" in the "Reference Type" box. Choose the footnote you want to reuse in the "For Which Footnote" box.
4. Select the "Insert as Hyperlink" check box if you want to be able to go to the original footnote by clicking on the cross-reference. Select the "Include Above/Below" check box if you want Word to note on the document where the original footnote is in relation to the cross reference.
5. Click the "Insert" button.
