How to Stretch One Image Across 2 Pages in Word 2007

1. Click on the image you want to stretch. Once you see the box around the image indicating that you have selected it, right-click on the image and select 'Copy.'
2. Move your cursor to the location on the next page to where you would like to stretch the image. You may need to hit 'Enter' on your keyboard numerous times to do so. Right-click your mouse again, and select 'Paste.' You will of course now see a duplicate image of the original on this page.
3. Move back to the original picture, select it, and right-click on it again. Select 'Size' and the Size dialog box will open. Click on the up arrow next to the word 'Bottom' in the 'Crop from' section of the box, and continue clicking until the image consists of only the portion you wish to have on this page. Click on the 'Close' button.
4. Move to the copied picture on the next page, select it, and right-click on it. Select 'Size' and the Size dialog box will open. Although it seems counter-intuitive, click on the up arrow next to the word 'Top' in the 'Crop from' section of the box, and continue clicking until the image consists of only the portion you wish to have on this page. Clicking on the down arrow will actually increase the size of the picture. Click on the 'Close' button.
5. Compare the two images to see if they reflect the way you wish each portion of the image to be displayed on each page. You can make additional crops to the picture as detailed in steps 3 and 4 to fine-tune your final product.
