How to Automatically Insert Current Date on Word Easily

1. Open Word to a new document or load an existing document to which you want to add the current date.
2. Place the cursor at the point in your document where you want to insert the date.
3. Hold down the 'Alt' and 'Shift' keys and press 'D' on the keyboard to insert a dynamic date.

4. Place the cursor at the point in your document where you want to insert the date.
5. Click the 'Insert' button on the ribbon.
6. Click the 'Date & Time' button to display a window with available format.
7. Select one of the formats from the list. Uncheck 'Update automatically' if you want today's date to remain fixed. Leave the box checked if you want the date always to display the current date every time you open the document.
8. Click 'OK.'
