How to Add Free Microsoft Word Fonts

Download a free zip program.In oder to download free Microsoft Word fonts, you need a zip program. This unzips free files from the web to your font collection. A good zip program is JustZIPit. See the resources section below.

Find the free Microsoft Word fonts that you want to use. The web offers thousands of free Microsoft Word fonts. See resources below for free Microsoft Word Fonts.
3. Click on the download zip file button once you find the fonts. This will download and unzip the font. Open and it should be located in the Windows temporary files.

Click on the start button at the bottom of the desktop, then settings.Click on control panel and then fonts. Once you are in fonts, it's homeward bound for your free Microsoft Word fonts.

Install the new font. Once in fonts, click on file at the top, INSTALL NEW FONT.This is where you store the free Microsoft Word fonts, along with the rest of your fonts. A window will pop up and you should click on C: drive, then TEMP. This locates all free Microsoft Word fonts that you have in the temporary file from before.
6. Look for the fonts you downloaded.Once you open the temporary file with all the free Microsoft Word fonts, you should see the name of each one that you downloaded. Click on the name, then OK.You have just installed one of the free Microsoft Word fonts on your computer. When you go back into fonts, you should see the name of the font there.

Open the Microsoft Word program after transferring your Free Microsoft Word fonts.On the fonts drop down bar, you should see the name of the font you downloaded. Congratulations. Adding a personal touch holds endless possibilities for you.
