How to Unlock a Selection in Microsoft Word 2007

1. Open the Microsoft Word 2007 document that contains the selection you want to unlock.
2. Click the 'Review' tab and then click the 'Protect Document' option from the 'Protect' group.
3. Click the 'Restrict Formatting and Editing' option. The 'Protect Document' task pane will appear.
4. Click 'Stop Protection' from the 'Protect Document' task pane and then the document will become unprotected.
5. Click the selection in the document and you'll be able to edit it.
