How to Download Borders
1. Go to http://office.microsoft.com in your Internet browser. At the top of the page, look for the words 'Clip Art' and click. On the next page find the field near the top of the page that says 'Search All Media Types.' Type 'borders.' Before pressing Enter on your keyboard, or the Search button, click the small arrow next to 'Search' then click 'Clip Art.' This will make sure that you are searching within clip art only. The site will then automatically advance to the next page.
2. Review the list of clip art that Office Online has found for you. When you find a border you like, click the checkbox underneath the preview. You can choose more than one if you wish. When you have finished choosing which one(s) you want, go to the left side of the screen under Selection Basket. Click 'Review Basket' if you want to see all items or 'Download X items'--where X equals the amount of borders you have selected.
3. Read over the download details, and click the button next to 'Import into Clip Organizer version 2002 or newer.' Click the 'Download Now' button. Wait for the download to begin. When the window pops up, choose to open the file. Click 'OK.' Another window will pop up with the borders you have downloaded. You may minimize or close this window.
4. Open a new document in Microsoft Word. Go to Insert, then click 'Clip Art.' Leave the fields as is in the Clip Art box on the side of your screen, and click 'Go.' The borders you just downloaded should be the first ones to show up in the list. Click a border you want, and it will show up on the document. Resize the border and move it around the document if needed.
5. Click in the white area where you have not placed a border and place any text, pictures, or anything else you need to create and finish your document.
