How to Insert a Photo into an Oval Frame in Microsoft Word

1. Open Word. Click the 'Insert' tab. Click the 'Shapes' button. Click the ellipse shape, which looks like an oval on its side. When the cursor turns into a plus sign, click and drag to draw the oval frame on the Word page.
2. Click the oval to open the orange 'Drawing Tools' tab at the top of the screen. Click the 'Shape Fill' menu directly below the tab.
3. Click 'Picture.' Browse to the photo you want to insert into the oval frame and double-click the file name. The image appears inside the oval.
