How to Put the File Path on a Document in Word 2007


1. Open Microsoft Word 2007.
2. Click the 'Insert' tab.
3. Select 'Quick Parts' in the 'Text' section. A drop-down menu will appear. Select the 'Field' option.
4. Click the down arrow under 'Categories.' Select 'Document Information.'
5. Select 'FileName' in the Field names list.
6. Check the 'Add path to filename' check box.
7. Click the 'OK' button.
