How to Convert Open Office 3.0 to Word Perfect 12
1. Click on the OpenOffice file to open it in your version of OpenOffice. OpenOffice is free and works on both Mac and PC. Go to 'File' and select the 'Open' option, then browse to the location of the document you want to convert to WordPerfect 12.
2. Go to the 'File' menu and choose the 'Save As' option. Save your OpenOffice 3.0 document as a rich text option by clicking the arrow on the dialog box and selecting 'Rich Text' from the drop-down list of file types.
3. Open WordPerfect 12 and go to the 'File' menu. Select the 'Open' option and browse to the location of the converted OpenOffice document. WordPerfect 12 will open the rich text file in the proper format.
4. Go to the 'File' menu with the converted OpenOffice document and choose the 'Save As' command. Choose 'WPD' document from the selection of file types and click 'OK.' Your converted OpenOffice document will then be saved as a WordPerfect 12 file.
