How to Create Multiple Mailing Labels in Microsoft Word

Typing Multiple Addresses on Mailing Labels
1. Open a new document in Microsoft Word.
2. Click the Tools menu and select Letters and Mailings and then Envelopes and Labels. Choose the Labels tab. The Envelopes and Labels dialog box will open.
3. Click the 'Options' button to find the label template you want to use. Pick it from the list of choices in the Label Options dialog box and click 'OK.' You will be redirected to the Envelopes and Labels dialog box.
4. Leave the Address text box blank. Make sure that the option 'Full page of the same label' is selected under Print. Then click the 'New Document' button. A full page of blank labels will be placed in a new document. The insertion point will blink in the first row and first column of the label template.
5. Type your first address into the label cell. Then press the 'Tab' key to go to the next label. If there are two or more labels in each row, use the 'Tab' key to get to the correct cell.
6. Type in your second address, as you did in the previous step. Then address the remaining labels until your project is complete and save or print your labels.
Combining Labels of Different Sizes
7. Create the labels (of different sizes) and save each label file separately. Close all the files except the one to which the other labels will be added.
8. Place the insertion point at the beginning of the open file. Then insert a section break in that area by clicking the Insert menu and selecting Break. Choose the Next Page option and click 'OK.'
9. Make sure you're on the first page, and then click Insert and select File. Find the first label file you want to combine and double-click it. It will load onto your page.
10. Repeat Steps 2 and 3. This time add the second label file you want to combine. Continue this process until all the label files are combined.
