How to Group Objects in Microsoft Word Documents
Group Objects in Word 2003
1. Press and hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard while you click on each object that you want to group in the Word document. This selects the objects.
2. Go to the "Drawing" toolbar. If you do not see this toolbar, go to the "View" menu, point to "Toolbars" and select "Drawing."
3. Click "Draw" and select "Group."
Group Objects in Word 2007 or 2010
4. Press and hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard while you click on each object that you want to group in the Word document. This selects the objects.
5. Go to the "Format Tab" under "Drawing Tools," if you are grouping only objects without text, or the "Format Tab" under "Text Box Tools," if you are grouping objects with text.
6. Click the "Group" button in the "Arrange" section, and then select "Group" from the drop-down menu.
