Using Earlier Versions of Word

7. Click to select the correct document from the list and click 'Open.'
8. Click 'Open' under the 'Home' tab if you have already started Microsoft Word and can no longer view the home screen.
9. Click 'Show' in the dialogue box and then select 'AppleWorks 5 & 6' from the menu. Locate the correct file from the list of documents and click 'Open.' The document will open in Microsoft Word.
