How to Restore Lost Font Types in MS Word Office 2007


1. Visit a website that includes the missing font types and download the missing fonts to your computer and save them. The Microsoft Typography site is a good starting point.
2. Click the 'Start' button and select 'Control Panel.'
3. Click 'Appearance and Personalization' and 'Fonts.'
4. Click 'File' and select 'Install New Font.' Click 'ALT' if you do not see the file menu.
5. Locate and click the drive where the new font is saved in the 'Add Fonts' dialog box, under 'Drives.'
6. Double-click the folder under 'Folders' that includes the lost font types that were downloaded.
7. Click the fonts you want to restore under 'List of fonts' and click 'Install.' You now have restored lost font types in MS Word Office 2007.
