How to Format Paragraphs in Word 2007
1. Open a new or existing Word 2007 file. Click 'Start' on the main operating system menu. Next, choose 'Programs' or 'All Programs' from the start menu. Then, click on 'Microsoft Office' in the programs menu. Next, select 'Microsoft Word' from the Microsoft Office menu. Finally open a new or existing Word file.
2. Highlight the paragraph to format in Word 2007. Right click the mouse; drag the cursor over the entire paragraph to format the paragraph.
3. Access the paragraph formatting menu by right clicking the mouse. Once the paragraph is selected, right click the mouse and choose 'Paragraph' from the right click menu.
4. Make the necessary change to the paragraphs format in the paragraph dialogue box. There should be two tabs available: one is the 'Indents and Spacing' tab and the other is the 'Line and Page Breaks' tab. Use these tabs to make the necessary paragraph formatting changes.
5. Take note that a user can also access the paragraph formatting functions through the 'Paragraph' section of the 'Home' ribbon. Simply click on each available function in the section to make changes. If more in-depth changes need to be made, then click on the arrow in the lower right corner of the paragraph section. This will give the user access to the paragraph formatting dialogue box discussed in the previous steps.
