How to Convert Word to HTML in Microsoft Office for Mac
1. Create your document in Word 2011. You may even add images, video or audio to it.
2. Click on the 'File' menu and choose 'Web Page Preview' to see how your document will look as a Web page. Adjust the page if you want to.
3. Click on the 'File' menu and choose 'Save as Web Page....' A dialogue box will open with two buttons. You can choose between 'Save entire file into HTML' and 'Save only display information.'
4. Select 'Save entire file into HTML' to get a perfect representation of your document as a code-heavy Web page. Select 'Save only display information' for a smaller file that relies on a reader's browser settings. In most cases, the smaller file is a better choice. A PDF is a better way to faithfully depict a document should that be your goal.
5. Type a file name and choose a location in which to save your file and click the 'Save' button to create your HTML page.
