How to Put Words or Numbers Into Fraction Form in Microsoft Word


1. Place your cursor where you want the fraction in your Microsoft Word document.
2. Press 'Ctrl' + 'F9.' This displays a gray box with field braces { }.
3. Type the following within the two braces without quotes: 'EQ \F(numerator,denominator).' Replace numerator and denominator with your desired words or numbers.For instance, if you want a word fraction with sad and happy, you would type 'EQ \F(sad,happy).
4. Place your cursor inside the brackets.
5. Press 'Shift' + 'F9' to turn the gray box into your desired fraction.
