How to Write Arabic Numbers in Word 2007


1. Click the location where you want the Arabic numbers to appear in your Word 2007 document.
2. Click the top 'Insert' tab.
3. Click 'Symbol' in the Symbols group, and select 'More Symbols.'
4. Click the drop-down menu after 'Subset' in the Symbol window, and select 'Arabic.'
5. Click the Arabic number you want, located five lines down from the default selection. The character codes are 0060 through 0669, which correspond to numbers zero through nine.
6. Click 'Insert' to insert the Arabic number, and 'Close' to close the Symbol window. Or, you can type the character code in the Word document: Hold the 'Alt' key and press 'X' to automatically insert the corresponding Arabic number.
