How to Turn Off Markup As a Default in Word 2007


1. Open your Office Word 2007 application.
2. Hit the 'Office' icon in the top left corner of the interface. Click the 'Word Options' button.
3. Click the 'Trust Center' option in the left column.
4. Hit the 'Trust Center Settings' button.
5. Select 'Privacy Options' in the left column. Remove the check mark next to the 'Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving' option.
6. Click the 'OK' button.
