How to Find What Year My Microsoft Word Is?

1. Click "Start," "Programs," point to "Microsoft Office" and click on it to expand a list of your MS Office programs.
2. Find Microsoft Word in the list. The year version of all of your Office programs should appear in the title of the folder or the name of each program.
3. Open Word.
4. Click on the Windows icon, click "World Options," click "Resources," and then click the "About" button to view detailed version information for Word 2007. For older versions of word click on the "Help" menu heading and then choose "About Microsoft Office Word," to view additional information.
