How to View Metadata in a Word Document
1. Open the Word document containing the metadata you want to view.
2. Click the 'Office' button, then select 'Prepare' and 'Properties.' The 'Document Properties' task pane will open above your page, and it contains the metadata for that document.
3. Type the author, title, subject, keywords, category, status and comment information you wish to add to the metadata.
4. Select the 'Document Properties' drop-down menu. Click on 'Advanced Properties' to view advanced information. The 'Document Properties' dialog box will open.
5. Click on the 'Summary' tab to view additional metadata. Click 'OK.'
