How to Use Different Footers for Each Page on Word 2007
1. Launch Microsoft Word 2007 and open the document whose footers you want to create or adjust.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the first page. Click the 'Page Layout' tab, and then click the 'Breaks' drop-down menu in the 'Page Setup' section.
3. Scroll down and click on 'Next Page' beneath the 'Section Breaks' section. This creates a section break between the first and second page.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the next page and repeat steps 3 and 4 to create another page break. Continue repeating the steps until you've created a section break between each page in the document.
5. Click the 'Insert' tab at the top of Word. Click on 'Footer' in the 'Header & Footer' section.
6. Select one of the footers from the list in the drop-down menu to insert it into the first page of the document. Note that Word automatically adds this footer to all pages in the document. You must manually change it in each page.
7. Click within the footer section on the second page. Click on the 'Link to Previous' button in the 'Navigation' section of the 'Headers & Footers' tab at the top of Word to deselect it. This unlinks the footer in the current section with the other footers in the document. Make changes to the footer as desired.
8. Repeat step 7 on each page to unlink the footers and differentiate them to however you please.
