How to View the Header and the Footer in Microsoft Word 2007

1. Open Word 2007, and then open the document with the missing headers and footers.
2. Click 'View' in Word's top menu. Choose 'Document Views,' then either 'Print Layout' or 'Full Screen Reading.' Headers and footers should appear grayed out at the top and bottom of your document. If the headers and footers do not appear, check your Word options settings to enable Word to show the white space on your pages.
3. Click the Microsoft Office icon in the top-left corner, then click 'Word Options.'
4. Click 'Display.' Under 'Page Display Options,' check the box next to 'Show White Space Between Pages in Print Layout View.' Click 'OK,' and your headers and footers should display in your document.
