How Do I Divide a Page in Word for Windows?

1. Create a new document in Microsoft Word or open an existing one.
2. Click the “Page Layout” tab.
3. Click the small arrow at the bottom right of the group labeled “Page Setup.”
4. Click the arrow next to the drop-down menu labeled “Multiple pages” and select “Two pages per sheet.”
5. Select either “Portrait” or “Landscape” orientation for your document. Portrait will orient the document vertically, with each line spanning the 8.5-inch width of the paper and each half page measuring 5.5 inches long. Landscape will orient the document horizontally, so each half page will measure 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches, with the text running across the 5.5-inch width.
6. Click “OK.”
