How to Use Word Art in Office 2007
1. Place the cursor in your document at the location you want your word art to appear.
2. Select the 'Insert' tab. Locate the group of commands known as the Text group (note the labels below the buttons).
3. Browse the text group functions to find 'WordArt.' The button has an image of a capital 'A' and is labeled 'WordArt.' Click the button to see the WordArt options.
4. Click on a WordArt style. Look at the colors, size, orientation and design. Clicking will bring up a text box.
5. Type your text. Choose a font size and decide if you'd like your text to be bold or italicized.
6. Select 'OK' and your text, styled as you chose, will appear in your document.
7. Click on your WordArt. Click and drag the resizing points to resize, if necessary.
8. Click the center of the WordArt box to drag it to a new location.
9. Select the WordArt 'Format' tab to display its command group. Choose 'Edit Text,' to change the words in your WordArt. Click 'OK' when your changes are complete.
10. Investigate other buttons in the WordArt Format tab to add and configure a shadow, change the color of the text or its outline, and adjust whether and how the WordArt makes the rest of your text wrap.
