How to View Document Properties of Files in Word 2007
1. Click on the Microsoft Office button in the top left corner of opened Microsoft Word file window.
2. Hover your mouse over 'Prepare' and select 'Properties.'
3. Click on the arrow next to the 'Document Properties' button in the 'Document Information Panel.' (This panel is displayed as one of the MS Word toolbars.)
4. Click the document properties you would like to view. There are five types of document properties in Microsoft Word 2007, some of which you might not have displayed: standard (size, title, author, subject), automatically updated (time/date of creation or last update, word count), custom, organization (depending on your place of work) and document library (for documents on a website or in a public folder) properties.
