How to Get Rid of the Graph Paper Background in Word

1. Locate the Ribbon at the top of your Microsoft Word 2007 document. Click the 'View' tab and locate the 'Show/Hide' section.
2. If gridlines are turned on, the 'Gridlines' check box is selected. Click this check box to clear it and turn gridlines off.
3. To turn gridlines back on, click the Gridlines check box again.
