How to Label Pictures on Word 2007


1. Place the insertion point where the picture goes within your document.
2. Select the 'Insert' tab, then click 'Picture' in the 'Illustrations' group.
3. Find and double-click the picture to add it to Word.
4. Right-click on the inserted picture and select 'Insert Caption' from the pop-up list. Then go to the 'Options' section in the 'Caption' dialog box.
5. Choose the type of object you're working on from the 'Label' drop-down list.
6. Click the 'Position' drop-down list to choose where the caption appears.
7. Leave 'Exclude label from caption' unchecked.
8. Click the 'New Label' button in the 'Caption' dialog box.
9. Enter a caption in the 'New Label' dialog box and click 'OK.'
10. Click 'OK' to apply the label to the image on your page.
