How to Make a Schedule in Office 2007
1. Open Microsoft Word 2007 on your computer desktop. Click the Office Button at the upper left-hand side of the screen. Hold down the mouse button while you move the cursor to the New Document tab and release. The New Document option window will appear. Scroll down through the template more than 30 different schedule templates you can download and edit to suit your needs. You can also use the templates for inspiration and create your own schedule by clicking the Insert tab at the top of the default page, and inserting a table which you can customize to make a schedule.
2. Open Microsoft Excel 2007 on your computer desktop. Click the Office Button at the upper left hand of the screen. Hold down the mouse button while you move the cursor to the New Workbook tab and release. The New Workbook option window will appear. Scroll down through the template options on the left side of the window until you come to Schedules. Click Schedules.Excel provides more than 50 different schedule templates you can download and edit to suit your needs. Excel also makes it very easy to create your own schedule because of the spreadsheet format. Treat the default spreadsheet like you would a table in Microsoft Word and design a schedule that corresponds with your specific needs.
3. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer desktop. Click the Calendar tab at the bottom left corner of the navigation screen. In the Outlook calendar feature, you can schedule tasks and appointments and view your schedule in daily, weekly or monthly formats. Click on a section of the calendar and enter the task or appointment that has been scheduled for that time. Whether you prefer keeping your schedule on your computer or printing it out, Outlook offers the option of printing out your schedule in five different styles: daily, weekly, monthly, tri-fold and calendar details.
4. Open Microsoft Publisher 2007 on your computer desktop. Click on Calendars under the Publications Type tab on the left side of the page. Publisher only provides templates for monthly schedules. However, similar to Excel and Word, you can design your own schedule in Publisher using a Blank Page and inserting a table that can be created and modified to suit your needs.
5. Open Microsoft Access 2007 on your computer desktop. Click the Office Button at the upper left hand of the screen. Click the Task option underneath the Featured Online Templates tab in the middle of the screen. Click Download on the right-hand side of the page. The Task database template is presented like a table and allows you to edit each field of the database and create your schedule.
