How to Save a Doc in Word 2007 As HTML


1. Open the document that you want to save as an HTML file in MS Word 2007.
2. Click the Office Button located in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Roll the cursor over “Save As” and click on “Other Formats.”
3. Select “Web Page” from the save as type pull-down menu.
4. Type in a name for the file in the “File Name” box. Remember that this name will appear in web browsers as the web page’s title. If you want the web page title to be different than the file’s name, click “Change Title,” type in the new title and click “OK.”
5. Click “Save.” The document will be saved as an HTML file and the document view will automatically will switch to "Web Layout" so you can see how it will look as a web page.
