How to Make a Brochure in Microsoft Word


1. Open Microsoft Word. If you do not see the 'Document Wizard' automatically, select 'File' and then 'New' to open it.
2. Begin your brochure. Select the 'Publications' tab on the documents wizard. Click on the 'Brochure' icon listed and click on the 'OK' button. This opens up the newly created brochure.
3. Name and save your brochure. Select 'File' and then 'Save As' to save a copy of your brochure. Name your publication appropriately; place it in the correct folder by selecting one from the drop down arrow on the left top of the box (or by creating a new folder) and then click on the 'Save' button.
4. Check out your brochure template. The default brochure has a front, back and is a tri-fold (folds like a letter) letter size (8 1/2-by-11) template. You will notice there are pictures and writing all over the newly created brochure. You are sure to also become aware of all of the practical information written on the brochure. It is chock full of a large amount of details on all types of ways you can make changes to your brochure. Before you begin replacing all of these tips, you may want to read over them. You are sure to pick up some clever ideas from it.
5. Make changes to your Microsoft brochure. You can easily personalize your brochure to fit your needs. It is extremely easy to make all types of edits to the brochure to truly customize it. Simply select the area you want to formulate the changes to and make them. You can also select and delete any areas you do not want to keep.
6. Print your new Microsoft brochure. Once you have finished your brochure you can print one or more copies of it. Simply select either the print icon on the top of the Microsoft Word application or select 'Print' from the 'File' menu. You may have to also select the printer to use and the number of copies to print (and other printer options). Select 'OK' to begin printing.
