How to Resize the Windows in MS Word 2007
Resize Windows Manually
1. Open MS Word 2007. Click the 'Microsoft Office Button,' then 'Open.' Select a document you want to open, then click 'Open.'
2. Press the 'Maximize' button in the top-right corner to make the window fill your computer screen. Likewise, press the same button again to reduce the window size.
3. Point your cursor to the bottom right corner of the window until it turns into a resize handle. Click and drag the corner to resize the window horizontally and/or vertically.
Arrange Two Windows Side by Side
4. Open MS Word 2007. Click the 'Microsoft Office Button,' then 'Open.' Browse your files to select two files you want to open simultaneously. Press 'Ctrl' while you select two documents, then click 'Open.'
5. Click one of the documents to make it active. It doesn't matter which of the documents you choose.
6. Click the 'View' tab. In the 'Window' group then click 'View Side by Side.' This will automatically arrange the two documents so they have equal share of the screen. This is useful if you want to compare two documents or refer to a document while you work on something else.
