How to Flip Things in OpenOffice

Rotate and Flip
1. Click on the word or graphic you want to flip, which will generate a square or rectangular box around the item.
2. Click on the 'rotate' icon, which is a circular arrow and typically located on one of the corners of the box. Hold down the mouse button to 'grab' the icon, and drag your mouse to see the object rotate.
3. Rotate the item as much as needed; you can rotate it all the way to flip the item completely.
Graphic Mirror Flip
4. Open a 'Draw' document and enter the text you want to flip. Click on it to generate a square or rectangular box.
5. Click 'File,' then 'Export,' choose a graphic format, check next to 'Selection,' then click 'Save.'
6. Go to 'Insert,' 'Picture,' then 'From File' and find the graphic you created in Step 2. Click 'Insert.' Go to 'Modify' and select 'Flip' to generate a mirror image of the graphic.
