How to Print Avery Labels in Word 2007

1. Double-click the Microsoft Word 2007 icon on your desktop to open the program. Or, click "Start" or the Windows logo button, select "All Programs" and click "Microsoft Office Word 2007" from the list to open it.
2. Select the "Mailings" ribbon. Click "Labels" from the "Create" group.
3. Click the "Options" button in the "Envelopes and Labels" window to open the "Label Options" box. Click the "Label Vendors" drop-down menu. Click "Avery US Letter." In the "Product number" section, click the number of the Avery Product Code you are using. For example, scroll down and click "8662" for Avery's "Easy Peel Mailing Labels" or "8962" for "DVD Labels." Click "OK" to close the "Labels Options" box.
4. Click the "New Document" button to load the Avery Template on the Word 2007 screen. Edit the label on the screen within the margins automatically set by the Avery Template. Select the "Insert" ribbon and click "Picture" or "Clip Art" to place and resize images on your labels. Or, click anywhere within the template and begin typing text on your labels.
5. Place the Avery paper into your printer tray. Click the Office button in the Word 2007 program. Click "Print." Click "OK."
