How to Remove the Editing History on Microsoft Word

Remove Track Changes Marks
1. Click the 'Review' tab on the Ribbon.
2. Click the 'Accept' button, if you want to incorporate all the edits into your document so that they look like plain text, rather than red edit markings; or, click the 'Reject' button, if you want to remove the edits entirely, returning to the unedited version of the document.
3. Click 'Accept All Changes in Document' or 'Reject All Changes in Document' on the drop-down menu.
4. Right-click any comment; on the pop-up menu, click 'Delete Comment.' Repeat this step for every comment in the document.
