How to Add Page Numbers to Word 2007


1. Open your document in Microsoft Word.
2. Click 'Insert' to open the 'Insert' panel.
3. Click the 'Page Number' button in the 'Header and Footer' box. A menu will open that gives the option to insert page numbers in a variety of locations.
4. Move your mouse over 'Top of Page,' 'Bottom of Page' or 'Current Location.' Clicking on one of the options isn't necessary--placing your cursor over it will open a new menu.
5. Click on a page number style to insert the page number.
