How to Remove Tab Stops in Microsoft Word 2007


1. Open the document in which you want to remove tab stops.
2. Click 'Page Layout' above the ribbon.
3. Click the arrow button in the bottom right corner of the 'Paragraph' section in the ribbon. The 'Paragraph' dialog box pops up.
4. Click 'Tabs' in the bottom left of the dialog window. The 'Tabs' dialog box opens.
5. Click a tab stop in the 'Tab Stop Position' list.
6. Click 'Clear' to remove the tab stop. You can also click 'Clear All' to remove every tab stop.
7. Click 'OK.'
