How to Change the Margins in Word From Inches to Centimeters

1. Open your Office Word program and click on the 'Office' button, located in the upper left portion of the program window.
2. Click on 'Word Options' or 'Options' (depending on whether you are using Office 2007 or Office 2010) and then click on the 'Advanced' section.
3. Click on the 'Show measurements in units of' drop-down box and change it from inches to centimeters.
4. Click the 'OK' button to apply the settings change.
