How to Align a Table Vertically in Microsoft Word
1. Open Microsoft Word and open an existing table. If you like, you can create a new table on a blank document.
2. Go to the 'View' menu and select 'Print Layout' to change to the Print Layout view. If the words 'Print Layout' are already highlighted, you are already in Print Layout view.
3. Hover your mouse pointer over the top left hand corner of your table. You should see a four-headed arrow surrounded by a square. This is your table move handle.
4. Select your table by clicking on the table move handle.
5. Choose the 'File' menu and then the 'Page Setup' option to bring up the 'Page Setup' dialog box.
6. Select the 'Layout' tab in the dialog box and under the 'Page' section choose a vertical alignment of 'Top,' 'Center,' 'Justified' or 'Bottom.'
7. Pick 'Selected text' in the 'Apply to' options under the 'Preview' section and click the 'OK' button to vertically align your table.
