How To Change a Microsoft Word Font to Chinese


1. Click 'Start,' then 'Control Panel.'
2. Select 'Regional and Language Options' and click the 'Languages' tab.
3. Check the option for 'Install Files for East Asian Languages.' When prompted, press 'OK.' Insert your Windows installation disk into your computer. Allow the files to be installed, then press 'OK' to save the changes. Restart your computer afterward to finish the installation.
4. Enter your Control Panel again, and select 'Regional and Language Options.' Click the 'Language' tab and 'Details.'
5. Select 'Add,' then choose 'Chinese' from the 'Input Language' drop-down menu. From the 'Keyboard Layout' option, choose 'Pinyin.' Click 'OK.'
6. Open Microsoft Word. In the lower right corner of your desktop, you should see a small 'EN' icon. Click it and select 'CH' to change your font and input to Chinese.
