How to Clip an Object in a Word Document


Clipping a Picture
1. Open the document containing the object you want to clip in Word 2007.
2. Select the picture on your page.
3. Go to the 'Format' tab in the ribbon. Then select the 'Crop' command from the 'Size' group.
4. Place your mouse on the edge you want to clip. Then pull it inward.
Clipping an Embedded File
5. Open the document containing the object you want to clip in Word 2007.
6. Click the 'Customize Quick Access Toolbar' and select 'More Commands.'
7. Select 'All Commands' under 'Choose Commands From' in the 'Customize' tab. Select 'Crop' and click 'Add.' Then press 'OK.'
8. Select the object you want to clip on your page. Then choose the 'Crop' command from the Quick Access Toolbar.
9. Place your mouse on the edge you want to clip. Then pull it inward to clip it away.
