How to Create a 3D Object in Microsoft Word

1. Insert a drawing into your document from the 'Pictures' option under 'Insert.' You can create a new drawing or insert an existing drawing, lines, AutoShapes or Word Art in Word.
2. Bring the drawing toolbar on top of your screen if it's not there already. Click 'View' on the top toolbar and select 'Toolbars.' You'll see several selections with checkmarks by active toolbars. Click 'Drawing' to make it active, and then drag the Drawing toolbar to the top or bottom of your screen.
3. Click the drawing that you want to make 3D. Locate and select the 3D button on your Word drawing toolbar.
4. Make your 3D style choice by clicking on one of the many 3D directions that allows you to tilt the drawing in different directions.
5. Customize your 3D drawing when you bring the 3D menu up again and select 3D effects. You can choose to alter the 3D effect with rotation, direction of the 3D angle, depth, lighting of the color pattern and surface texture.
6. Add color to 3D objects by choosing the color button on the 3D effects menu.
