How to Mirror Words on Microsoft Word


Mirror Words in Word 2003
1. Start Microsoft Word. Open an existing or new document. Look for the "Drawing" toolbar at the bottom of the window. If it is not present, go to the "View" menu, point to "Toolbars" and select "Drawing."
2. Click "Insert Word Art" on the "Drawing" toolbar. The Word Art Gallery opens.
3. Select the Word Art style you want to use. Click "OK." Type the text you want to add and mirror into the "Edit Word Art Text" box. Click "OK."
4. Click the Word Art image to select it. Right-click and select "Copy." Place the mouse below the Word Art image. Right-click and select "Paste."
5. Go to the "Drawing" toolbar. Click on "Draw" and point to "Rotate or Flip." Select "Flip Horizontal." A mirrored version of your text appears.

6. Start Microsoft Word. Open an existing or new document. Go to the "Insert" tab and click "Word Art." The Word Art Gallery opens.
7. Select the Word Art style you want to use. Click "OK." Type the text you want to add and mirror into the "Edit Word Art Text" box. Click "OK."
8. Select the Word Art style you want to use. Click "OK." Type the text you want to add and mirror into the "Edit Word Art Text" box. Click "OK."
9. Click the Word Art image to select it. Right-click and select "Copy." Place the mouse below the Word Art image. Right-click and select "Paste."
10. Click on the second Word Art image to select it. Go to the "Format" tab under "Word Art Tools." Click "Rotate" in the "Arrange" group and then click "Flip Horizontal." A mirrored version of your text appears.
